# RepoSide — GitHub Desktop Companion

RepoSide is a lightweight Windows companion for GitHub Desktop. It follows the repository currently selected in GitHub Desktop and keeps a matching file explorer and persistent terminal workspace ready, reducing repeated terminal launches and directory navigation when switching projects.

## What it does

- Detects the active GitHub Desktop repository and switches the companion workspace automatically.
- Keeps terminal tabs, running commands, development servers, and output history available per repository.
- Remembers file-tree expansion and navigation state for each project.
- Runs locally on Windows without cloud telemetry.
